Why is this flooring my favorite?Being an artist I look for beauty in the simple things and generally turn to nature for inspiration. With the Brazilian Walnut I am never disappointed. It is simply a masterpiece from nature. I love the color variation that the Brazilian Walnut is known for and the element of surprise that comes along with it. Nature’s perfection in the Brazilian Walnut isn’t just skin deep; it also offers another benefit, one that may surprise you. The true beauty lies with its dense grain structure. The Brazilian Walnut is naturally resistant to fire and has a NFPA Class A Rating and UBC Class 1 Rating (the same as concrete and steel). Not only is its color & sophisticated variation breathtakingly beautiful, its Janka rating goes unmatched at 3680. Brazilian Walnut is strong, tough, resilient and oh so beautiful.

simpleFLOORS donates to help Haiti

Message from simpleFLOORS Board of Directors to simpleFLOORS team -

Although we see the reports on television, it is difficult to fully understand the tragedy so many in Haiti are facing. Our thoughts go out to our immediate employees with family members in Haiti. We can only hope that none of us ever have to experience devastation of this magnitude personally.

Simultaneously, It goes without saying that this is a difficult period for many financially. Donations of this sort are a highly personal matter and what may be feasible for some may not be feasible for all with this regard. The board felt it appropriate that Simplefloors donate $2000.00 to the American Red Cross on behalf of the entire team. This humble donation was made possible because of all of your daily efforts.

The latest numbers indicate $221 million dollars have already been raised by efforts from the Red Cross, World Vision, Salvation Army and many more. The majority of which are humble amounts such as this from a great number of concerned people.
